If 90 Day Fiancé viewers think they know everything about their favorite cast members from watching them on the show or following them on Instagram, there are times when these celebs still somehow manage to surprise everyone by hanging out together. In a franchise better known for its drama and clashes between couples, especially during Tell-All episodes, it’s remarkable to see them meeting and having their own reunions away from the cameras and telling their fans about them.

These unexpected 90 Day Fiancé friendships both shock and amuse fans, who otherwise may have never pictured these cast members ever meeting in person. There have been several occasions in the past few years when 90DF cast members have revealed they have much more in common than relationship problems.

11 Kim & Jamal Menzies And Kenny Niedermeier & Armando Rubio

Kim Menzies and Jamal Menzies were introduced in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 in which Jamal was complimented for his sound advice to his mom and attractive looks. Jamal was roped in as Pillow Talk cast member with his mom and has now become an essential part of the show. Kim was in Mexico in March 2023 to celebrate her birthday and Jamal was with her too. There they met fellow Pillow Talk couple Kenny and Armando who stay in Mexico. “Look who came and surprised me for dinner,” Kim wrote in her Instagram story as she posed with Jamal, Kenny, and Armando for a happy picture.

10 Yara Zaya & Jovi Dufren And Charlie & Megan Potthast

Charlie Potthast is not a well-liked character in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise for his toxic relationship with his sister Elizabeth’s husband Andrei Castravet. There have been instances of physical fights on the show, and Charlie’s wife, Megan, has allegedly even scratched Elizabeth’s face while yelling at Chuck Potthast, which made her too instantly unlikeable. It was shocking when this rude couple was seen hanging out with Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren, who is a rational and mature couple compared to them in New York on a double date in August 2021. It was Charlie who posted the photo on Instagram calling Jovi his man in the caption.

9 Shaeeda Sween & Bilal Hazziez And Emily Bieberly & Kobe Blaise

Shaeeda Sween and Bilal Haziez and Emily Bieberly and Kobe Blaise were introduced to fans in the messy 90 Day Fiancé season 9. Shaeeda moved to the U.S. from Trinidad and Tobago, while Kobe came from Cameroon after having met Emily in China. After their season ended, Kobe and Emily became Pillow Talk commentators. Shaeeda and Bilal continued their storyline on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7. The two couples had a reunion after their season 9 Tell-All in December 2022. “We had a blast over the weekend, meeting Emily and Kobe and their gorgeous babies. After all we are neighbors in State. That’s what friends are for,” Shaeeda captioned the post.

8 Natalie Mordovtseva & Jasmin Abelard

Natalie Mordovtseva struggled to make friends in the woods after she relocated to Sequim from Ukraine to get married to Mike Youngquist. Natalie, however, found herself living a more independent life once she ended her marriage with Mike and moved to Florida where she also met her next boyfriend, Josh Weinstein. Natalie and Josh’s relationship became more serious after a year of their dating when Natalie made a move to California to become a model. Since moving, Natalie has been frequently spotted with Jasmin Abelard, who debuted with Natalie in 90 Day Fiancé season 7, and now lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Blake.

7 Yara Zaya & Jovi Dufren And Brandon Gibbs & Julia Trubkina

In July 2022, Yara Zaya and Julia Trubkina were seen taking shots at each other on Instagram when Julia claimed she and Brandon Gibbs were supposedly snubbed from Happily Ever After? season 7 because of her being Russian. It seems to have been the start of a forever feud between Yara from Ukraine and Julia from Russia, and the end of the friendship between the couples. A year before that in April 2011, Julia and Brandon and Yara and Jovi Dufren had gone for dinner and drinks at Cantina Frida in Beverly Hills where they had a good time together. A get-together like that will possibly never happen again since Yara and Julia are now feuding.

Shaeeda seems to be quite the social 90 Day Fiancé cast member who loves making friends with costars and even meeting them in real life when they aren’t airing their relationship drama on TV. Shaeeda and Bilal were recently in Miami and while they were there, they made good use of their time by meeting Loren and Alexei Brovarnik who are Miami residents. Shaeeda and Bilal are also Pillow Talkers now like Loren and Alexei and the Kansas woman was elated to have met Loren as she penned, “The food was so delicious the company was even better.”

5 Natalie Mordovtseva & Varya Malina

Before Natalie became best friends with Jasmin from Los Angeles, she had another near and near bestie from the franchise; Varya Malina. During Natalie’s brief stay in Florida, she used to spend a good amount of time with Varya, and once even shockingly supported Varya’s partner Geoffrey Paschel after he was found guilty of all charges stemming from a domestic violence incident. Natalie was shamed for having supported the man, but she never defended her actions and slowly but seemingly also stopped posting about Varya altogether.

4 Loren Brovarnik & Elizabeth Castravet

Mom to three under three, Loren has been open about living with postpartum depression on her Instagram and even posted videos of herself crying which have worried fans. They also worried her co-star, Elizabeth Potthast, herself a mother of two who reached out to Loren in January 2023 to tell her, “Hope you’re okay I’m here for you.” It’s possible that Loren and Elizabeth’s bond grew stronger since then because they recently drove two and a half hours to see each other for the first time.

Mike and his mom, Trish Youngquist, hanging out in New York City with Brandon’s parents Ron and Betty Gibbs in September 2022 was a shocking sight. Mike and Trish were in the city to film the 90 Day: The Single Life season 3 Tell-All but Ron and Betty’s appearance was never explained. The unlikely foursome enjoyed dinner and drinks and revealed they had gone sightseeing together.

2 Larissa Lima & Debbie Johnson

One of the reasons behind Colt Johnson and Larissa Lima’s marriage ending in less than a year was Debbie Johnson who used to share an uncomfortably close bond with her son. Larissa never got any support from Debbie during her abusive marriage, but after the divorce, Larissa decided that she was not one to hold grudges. Colt, Vanessa Guerra, and Debbie who were still staying together back then met up with the newly-single Syngin Colchester, Betty, Trish, and Molly Hopkins and Kelly Brown, who had a shocking breakup last year.
