*quotations from 23-05-2023

Nikola Jokic: -162 (bet $10 to win $16.17)

Nikola Jokić is the new favorite to win Finals MVP. The Joker leads Denver to one of the greatest seasons in franchise history. The two-time MVP averaged 24.5 points, 11.8 rebounds and 9.8 assists during his 2022-2023 season. And in the playoffs, he’s stepped it up even more, currently averaging 29.9 points, 13.2 rebounds and 10.1 assists. Currently, the Denver Nuggets lead the Lakers 3-0 in the Western Conference Finals.

Joe Mazzulla or Jayson Tatum: Who is responsible for the Celtics collapse?

Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics were eliminated by the Miami Heat 128-102 in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Jimmy Butler: +250 (bet $10 to win $35)

Jimmy Butler has the second best chance of winning the prize. Butler’s odds began to shrink for the first time after the Bucks’ historic first-round No. 1 Heat. With Miami leading 3-0 over the Celtics, his chances of winning Finals MVP have dropped from +1400 to + 250. mr. Buckets has averaged 29.9 points per game, 6.7 rebounds and 5.6 assists during Miami’s current playoff run.

Will Butler’s spectacular play help the Heat shut down Boston in no time?

Jason Tatum: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150)

Celtics superstar Tatum was the favorite to win NBA Finals MVP. However, Boston is trailing Miami 0-3, and Tatum’s odds have been extended from +137 to +1400.

Tatum finished fourth in regular-season MVP voting with a 30.1-point average. And while Tatum has the Celtics back in the Eastern Conference Finals for the second straight year — barring a miraculous comeback — the road holds for Jayson & Co. probably on here.

However, he did score a Game 7-record 51 points to defeat the 76ers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. If he can trigger similar heroics four games in a row and bring Boston back from the brink, punters could see Tatum back on top of the odds.

LeBron James: +5000 (bet $10 to win $510)
Anthony Davis: +5500 (bet $10 to win $560)

The seventh and eighth chances are for King James and teammate Anthony Davis. LeBron’s goal-scoring prowess and playing skills – among other strengths – have typically meant that he is regarded as the best player on every team he has played against. But throughout the Lakers’ three playoff rounds so far, both James and teammate Anthony Davis have been considered equals. James averages 23.5 points per game with 9.9 rebounds and 6.3 assists. Davis isn’t too far behind in scoring (22.7 points per game), but has been a monster defensively, with 14.1 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 3.1 shots per game.
