5 English summer festivals where there’s still time to buy tickets
In a country with a deep-rooted festival culture, England plays host to a number of music festivals every summer, some of which are internationally renowned. However, their popularity means that tickets usually sell out very quickly. Thus there are already events like Download or Glastonbury. sold out, But don’t panic, it’s still possible for some festivals to take your place. French Morning London gives you the list.
Park Life, Manchester
Like Glastonbury, more recently, Parklife is one of England’s must-see festivals. Based in Manchester, its programming embraces a variety of genres from hip-hop and pop to house and techno. At the headliner level, celebrities and rising stars rub shoulders with each other. This year find The 1975, Aitch, and Skrillex, to name just a few. All Saturday tickets are sold out but general admission and VIP tickets are still available for Sunday.

Love Supreme, Glynde
Love Supreme is the benchmark for jazz fans. The only camping jazz festival in the UK, Love Supreme offers a rich program combining soul, reggae, funk, blues and R&B. Among the artists expected this year: Emily Sandé, Grace Jones and Thundercat. And the 2023 edition is even more special as the festival celebrates its 10th anniversary. Wireless Festival, London
Since its inception in 2005, Wireless Festival has established itself as a benchmark for lovers of Hip-Hop, R&B, Rap and Trap. Unlike the 2022 edition, the festival will only take place in London this summer. 50 Cent, Playboy Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, Ice Spice, Flo… again headliners to watch out for this year. Creamfields, Daresbury
Creamfields attracts over 70,000 people every year. The festival, located between Liverpool and Manchester, is a performance venue for DJs, with favorite genres being house, techno, drum’n’bass and underground sounds. In short, Creamfields is a place for electronic music lovers. Guaranteed club atmosphere, find big names in music including David Guetta and DJ Snake in August.

Reading and Leeds Festivals
The Reading Festival, originally the National Jazz Festival, was started in 1961, making it one of the oldest festivals in the world. Since its creation, it has been able to adapt to changes in the music scene. And its success led to its double, the Leeds Festival, in 1999. Thus these two events take place on the same weekend and welcome the same artists.
The Reading and Leeds Festivals offer a varied programme, hosting both pop artists and metal bands. Billie Eilish and Sam Fender will perform in the 2023 edition, as well as Becky Hill. All that remains is to make your choice in terms of geographical preference.
