7 major shows and concerts coming to Norfolk in June 2023

1. Sandringham in Bloom, Sandringham

Sandringham in Bloom is a new festival showcasing and celebrating all things flora and fauna across the house, gardens and courtyard. 

There will also be live music at weekends, a relaxing gin bar in the gardens and the chance to see the late Queen Elizabeth II’s floral coronation robe from Salisbury Cathedral.

2. Great Yarmouth Comic Con, Great Yarmouth

Great Yarmouth Comic Con returns for its fourth year with a jam-packed weekend of entertainment, celebrities, props and cosplayers. 

Among the famous faces appearing in 2023 are Spencer Wilding (Darth Vader) and Marc Silk (voice of Scooby Doo, Shaggy and Johnny Bravo).

3. Arctic Monkeys, Norwich

Where: Carrow Road, Norwich, NR1 1JE

When: June 7, gates open at 5pm 

Price: Resale tickets from £60.95 on Ticketmaster

The Arctic Monkeys, fronted by Alex Turner, will play at Carrow Road in June on The Car tour, following the release of their seventh album in October 2022.

The support acts are The Hives and The Mysterines and there will be bars and food vendors at the concert.

4. Kisstory, Norwich

Kisstory returns to Norwich bigger and better in 2023 at a new location as it was held on a smaller scale in Chapelfield Gardens last year.

There will be two stages, plus an exclusive VIP area, and the line-up includes Artful Dodger, DJ Luck & MC Neat and Lisa Maffia & MC Romeo (So Solid Crew).

Forest Live returns to the Norfolk and Suffolk border with four consecutive evenings of live music, with Tom Grennan on Thursday, Anne-Marie on Friday, Paul Weller on Saturday and Jack Savoretti on Sunday.

You can make an evening of it by bringing a picnic and drinks, with a limit of one litre of alcohol per person.

Festival Too is back for its 39th year with free music and entertainment for all.

The first weekend is on King’s Staithe Square and on June 24 there will be performances from The Rick Parfitt Jnr Band and a fireworks display. 

The following two weekends will be at the Tuesday Market Place, with acts including Liberty X, Example, From the Jam, Newton Faulkner and Feeder.

7. Royal Norfolk Show, New Costessey

Where: Norfolk Showground, Dereham Road, New Costessey, NR5 0TT

When: June 28-29, from 8am

The Royal Norfolk Show returns with 700 trade stands, more than 3000 animals, a packed Grand Ring programme, a huge food and drink experience and hundreds of attractions.

The scheduled displays include the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team, the Shetland Pony Derby and the Bolddog Lings Motorcycle Display Team.
