Beyonce splashes out on curry after gig as Sunderland takeaway reveals what she ordered
Just days after splashing out nearly £2,000 on a huge Nando’s order for her entourage, Beyoncé was left feeling Jalfrezi in Love when she splurged on a curry after her show at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light.
This time the singer, 41, opted for an Indian, with the superstar and her crew dining on an array of curry, rice and chips.
Staff at the Bombay Barn in Washington, Tyne and Wear, were left in “shock” when they received the order but they were “thrilled” to be able to deliver the grub.

Posting a picture of a receipt showing off the order, they revealed the restaurant was asked to take the food to the “Beyoncé Stadium of Light VIP Entrance” and hand it over to backstage crew.
Captioning the Facebook post, they said: “Nothing to see here, just a takeaway order for BEYONCÉS crew, with delivery backstage at her gig at The Stadium of Light!”
The manager later added: “We were honoured that Beyonce’s entourage ordered from us. We hope they enjoyed the food after a busy show.
“It was a shock that they chose our restaurant but we were thrilled to be able to help them out.”
The Single Ladies singer’s order consisted of a curry tapas box, which included chicken mossala, lamb curry, chicken bhuna, a vegetable bhaji, pilau rice and Indian chunky chips.
The box seemed like pretty good value at £24.99.
On top of that was a 12-inch smashed burger pizza for £16.47, which she forked out an extra £2.50 on for a stuffed crust.
Fans were quick to flood the takeaway’s comment section congratulating them on the order.
One wrote: “That’s fantastic for you and for them Best food around.”
Another added: “If its good enough for Beyonce it’s good enough for me.”
But some thought she could have been a bit more generous.
One person wrote: “Could have sorted a bigger order out though tbf she’s a bloody millionaire. Class though.”
In total the order came to £41.48, a much more reasonable amount than the £1,800 bill for an enormous Nando’s order she made on Saturday (May 20).
While performing in Murrayfield, Scotland the singer ordered a whopping 110 chicken burgers, 90 pittas and nine chicken thighs from the fast-food chain.
