Buckinghamshire’s drivers in court recently for breaking law

Here are all the drivers in court recently:

A MAN has been fined over £400 after being caught speeding four miles over the speed limit.

Thomas Williams, of Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire, was caught on October 31 last year speeding on Queensbridge Road in Hackney.

The 42-year-old was caught driving 24 miles in a 20mph speed limit zone on a RedSpeed SpeedCurb camera.

He was found guilty at Willesden Magistrates Court this month and was fined £220. He was also ordered to pay a £88 victim surcharge and court costs of £100.

Williams’ licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

The total fine is £408 to be paid by next month.

A MAN has been disqualified from driving after being caught drug driving on the M6.

Waseem Hayyat, of Tring Road in Aylesbury, was caught on July 16 last year drug driving on the M6 near Cheshire.

The 44-year-old was caught with a controlled drug, namely DELTA 9 tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood, namely 6.7, exceeding the specified limit.

Hayyat was found guilty at South Cheshire Magistrates’ Court on June 13 this year.

He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £1,095. He was also ordered to pay £1,000 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £438.

A DRIVER has been fined almost £400 after being caught speeding on the A40.

Raymond Spencer, of Rutland Avenue in High Wycombe, was caught on October 29 last year speeding on the A40 near London.

The 36-year-old was recorded in his Audi as driving 35mph in a 30mph speed limit zone. He was caught on a Siemens SafeZone camera system.

At Lavender Hill Magistrates Court this month, he was fined £220 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

He was also ordered to pay £90 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £88.

The total fine to be paid by next month is £398.

A DRIVER was fined after being caught speeding on the A40 near London.

Alexander Ellers, of Buckingham Road, Westbury, was caught on October 31 last year exceeding the 30mph speed limit.

The 50-year-old was recorded driving 38mph on a Siemens SafeZone camera.

At Lavender Hill Magistrates Court this month, he pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined £72.

He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £28 and a collection order was made.

Ellers’ driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

The total fine was £100 and will need to be paid by the start of next month.
