Buckinghamshire’s drivers in court recently for breaking law

Here are all the drivers in court recently:

A DRIVER has been fined after being caught using his mobile phone on the motorway.

Mohammed Akhtar, of Miersfield, High Wycombe, was caught using his phone on December 13 last year on the M25.

The 38-year-old was caught near Swanley and was charged by police.

He was found guilty at the Medway Magistrates Court this month and was fined £220.

Akhtar was also ordered to pay £90 in court costs and an £88 victim surcharge. His licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

The total fine is £398 and will need to be paid in full by June 29.

A MAN has been fined after being caught speeding on the M4 motorway.

Thi Luu, of Mowbray Road, Aylesbury, was caught on October 30 last year speeding on the M4 between junction 20 and 19 eastbound.

The 34-year-old was recorded travelling at 82mph in a 70mph speed zone.

He pleaded guilty to the offence at Bath Magistrates Court on June 6 and was fined £72.

Lu was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £28. His licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

No order for court costs was made. The total fine is £100 which will need to be paid by August.

A MAN has been fined after being caught driving through a red traffic light.

Jeremy Hall, of Pebblemoor, Buckinghamshire, was caught on April 20 last year driving through a red traffic light in St Anns Road in South Tottenham.

The 53-year-old was charged with failing to comply with the indication given by a traffic sign and pleaded guilty to the offence at Willesden Magistrates Court.

He was fined £66 for the offence and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

Hall was also ordered to pay £66 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £34.

The total fine was £100.

A WOMAN has been caught speeding nine miles over the limit and has been fined.

Gail Wilkinson-Gray, of Denham Green, Buckinghamshire, was caught on September 27 last year speeding on the M1 motorway between junctions 28 and 35A.

The 61-year-old was caught on an automatic speed camera travelling at 69mph in a 60mph speed limit zone.

She was found guilty of the offence at Sheffield Magistrates Court and wad fined £220. She was also ordered to pay £90 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £88.

Wilkinson-Gray’s driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

The total fine is £398.
