Camera club snappers get close to their favourite creatures

Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been taking photos of animals after being given the theme ‘all creatures great and small’.

As well as cats and dogs, they captured bigger beasts too.

Eric Denton included a picture of a woolly mammoth model which he spotted outside Woodstock Town Hall in 2006.

Each week camera club members are given a theme and post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.

A selection are then featured in the Oxford Mail and online.

One photo is selected as the camera club photo of the week.
