Coventry City have made a classy gesture ahead of the Championship play-off final, confirming they will be providing a flag for every Sky Blues supporter at Wembley.
And the club’s chief executive Dave Boddy hopes it will be an “incredible” moment when Mark Robins leads his players out against Luton Town to a sea of Sky Blue.
Coventry will be roared on in their bid to win promotion to the Premier League by more than 36,000 supporters on Saturday.

Coventry City head into Saturday’s Championship play-off final at Wembley Stadium knowing it’s the club’s biggest game in over two decades – the Sky Blues just one match away from a return to the Premier League after a 22 year absence.
As far as Mark Robins’ selection goes, he knows he has to get it right on the day but his decisions have already been largely made for him by the form or those in possession of the shirt in recent weeks and over the course of the season. Allied to that is the fact that, unlike many of the division’s bigger hitters this term, City have a relatively small squad that got even smaller with the loss to injury of star playmakers Callum O’Hare and Kasey Palmer, and exciting young striker Fabio Tavares who was hoped to really break through in the second half of the campaign.
One of the manager’s biggest considerations will be coming up with a tactical master plan; a balance between being able to hurt Luton Town in the final third but also deal with their physical and aerial goal threat.
