Crypto Stories: Cheds shares how he leaned into crypto during his toughest times

Technical analyst Cheds has dreamed of becoming a trader since childhood. However, the journey he had to take to make his dream come true was not that easy.

In an episode of Cointelegraph’s Crypto stories, Cheds shared his humble beginnings. According to the technical analyst, he always dreamed of trading stocks since childhood. He said:

“I loved the idea of ​​buying low and selling high. Playing the market seemed like a great way to get rich enough to buy my own island.”

Nevertheless, life had other plans. He studied psychology at university and eventually decided to get some experience in sales and marketing, working his way up to senior management at the company he worked for. Although he took a different path, he never let go of his desire to trade and kept his eye on stocks.

He was then introduced to penny stocks and began trading marijuana stocks. According to Cheds, he was able to grow his portfolio only to find out that the news people based their trading decisions on was spurred on by holders looking for a way to sell their shares. He suffered huge losses and decided to take a break from trading.

In the end, Cheds said he could accept his situation and a fire was lit in him. “I should become an all-round trader. The skills I learned by studying psychology and poker just weren’t enough. I should get better at technical analysis,” he said. This led to the start of his social media account and technical analysis blog.

Fast forward a few years and he was finally able to earn enough to quit his day job and fulfill his childhood dream of becoming a trader. The following year, through a friend, Cheds discovered Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and Litecoin (LTC). He started sharing cryptography and analytics which made his social media grow rapidly.

The trader faced a new challenge not long after when he was diagnosed with cancer. During that time, he embraced his new identity as a crypto trader. “Instead of focusing on being sick and vulnerable all the time, I wanted to focus on being a top-notch technical analyst,” he said.
