Elizabeth Feathers (nee Foster)
Liz (or Betty as she was known in her younger years) passed away at The Royal Blackburn Hospital on May 26 at the age of 84 years, surrounded by a family who loved her.
Liz was a much loved mum of Chris, Cathy, Anne and Marie, grandma of Peter; Stephen, Daniel, Alex, Shannon and Ellie, and great-grandma of Olivia, Joshua, Rudy, Alba and Valentina. She adored dogs including her own beloved Ted.
In her younger days, Liz enjoyed dancing playing badminton, golf and walking in the hills.
She took great pleasure in travelling and seeing her family in Australia and Liz would often visit her dear life-long friend Renee. Liz liked to get out and about and enjoyed going to her rock and roll nights into her 80s.
She liked to keep herself fit and well and have coffee and chats with her family and friends.
Liz will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The funeral service took place on Wednesday, June 7 at Accrington Crematorium.

Christine Kilcoyne
It is with great sadness we announce the death of Christine Kilcoyne, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at home on May 27, age 65.
Christine will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children John, Lisa, Hayley and Katie, her partner Bryon, her nine grandchildren, her sisters Lynda and Gill, four brothers, family and friends.
Christine was the much loved wife of late John Kilcoyne and wonderful daughter to late Roy Cronshaw and Stella Wilkinson.
The funeral service will take place at Accrington crematorium, Burnley Road on June 15, 12.15pm.
Family flowers only with donations welcomed to the Pregnancy Sickness Support in memory of her late niece Jess.
Dorothy Howard
Dorothy Howard passed away peacefully at Woodlands Home for the elderly on Sunday, May 28 2023 aged 91 years.
Beloved wife of the late Frank, very much loved mum to Julie, Peter and Simon, mother in law to Trevor, Nicki and Maxine, loved grandma to Danielle and Scott, Mia and Orla, great grandma to Sam, Lucy, and Harley, great great grandma to Harlie and Indie, very much loved sister to Ann and John and the late Betty.
Dorothy will be very much missed by all her family and Friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1pm at Accrington Crematorium on Monday, June 19.

Kenneth William Watterson
Kenneth William Watterson, of Queens Road West, Accrington, passed away on May 24, aged 77 years.
Kenneth was a print estimator, retiring from Marks and Spencer’s Print in Burnley.
Kenneth was a fisherman (fly fishing), enjoyed reading and watching films, until lockdown he socialsed regularly with his wife Eileen, often in town on a Saturday evening for a pint or two!
Kenneth leaves behind his wife Eileen Watterson, daughter Debbie, son-in-law Alan, grandchildren Imogen and Walter (Ken was also brother to John and Sheila). A service will be held on Friday, June 16 at 11am at Accrington Crematorium, conducted by Neil Overton.

Robert ‘Stephen’ Clark
Robert ‘Stephen’ Clark of Hollins Lane, Baxenden, passed away on May 29, aged 93 years.
Robert was a project manager at Lupton Bros, Accrington.
He was an RAF Pilot officer, early member of Spring Hill Car Club, he enjoyed model aircraft, was a member of the Blackburn and Accrington Camera Club and Monday Men’s Club and New Era.
His first wife was Joyce who was the mother of their two children Kenneth and Lynn.
His second wife was Audrey. He was a brother to David and Margaret Barlow (now deceased).
A service will be held on Thursday, June 15 at 10am at Hyndburn Funeral Service Chapel of Rest followed by a committal at Accrington Crematorium at 11am, conducted by Duncan Alton.
