It resembles Hannah Gosselin is ready to move on from past drama!
For a hot minute, Jon And Kate Gosselin and their eight children – sextuplets Alexis, Collin, Joel, Lea, Adenand Hannah, as well as twins Mady And Cara – were among the biggest stars in all of reality TV. Then that all came crashing down with the couple extreme acrimonious split in 2009. The ensuing custody battle got messy and we all got a front row seat as a big happy family exploded in a toxic cloud. And the mess never really went away… But maybe there’s a chance now?

While talking to The American sun on Monday, Jon revealed that his daughter Hannah spoke to her siblings and her mother at the sextuplet’s 19th birthday last week:
“It was fun. Hannah and Collin have matured a lot over the years.”
Great news!
In case you don’t remember, Hannah and Collin finally decided to stay with their dad during the custody battles, while all the other siblings stayed with Kate. It became a huge ordeal, with a lot of tension between both the parents and the children. Late last year, Collin even admitted he hadn’t spoken to his siblings in “five or six years” — and Jon berated his ex-wife for her alleged alienation tactics. He said at the time:
“I’ve always wanted to talk to all my kids, but I didn’t want to put them in an awkward position because Kate didn’t want them to talk to me. I didn’t do parental alienation on my end, but she certainly did it on her end, but now that they’re adults, maybe they’re not as much influenced by her, and the management, and all that stuff.
Ouch.
This allegation continued when the father-of-eight further revealed that he wasn’t even allowed to wish his sextuplets a happy birthday last year, saying he hadn’t spoken to any of his children in Kate’s care since 2018:
“I have not spoken to my other children on their birthdays. The last time I spoke to Alexis, Aaden, Leah and Joel was in 2018. I will never give up talking to my kids. I hope with social media that maybe they will contact me at some point. The door is always open to revive any kind of relationship. I have tried for years to contact one of my other children, but nothing so far.”
There’s some serious, heartbreaking tension in this family… but maybe it’s looking good? Hannah reaching out to her mom and siblings is a big step! Maybe this opens a new door to communication?
As for the relationship between Hannah and her brother Collin, Jon revealed to the outlet:
“They have a good sibling relationship. Although they are completely different personalities, they definitely love and support each other.”
It’s so wonderful to hear that after all their hardships, things seem to be taking a new turn. Comments, Perezcious readers?
