Love Islands viewers ‘don’t understand’ as they spot Jess blunder while Molly detail leaves them in disbelief

Love Island viewers have said they ‘don’t understand’ as they spotted what they thought was a blunder from new islander Jess Harding. The 22-year-old is among the fresh batch of singletons looking for love as the hit ITV2 dating show returned on Monday night (June 5).

Jess, an aesthetics practitioner from London, and Beautician Ruchee Gurung, 24, from Sutton, Surrey, were the first islanders to make their entrance and were shocked when they were joined by gas engineer Mitchel Taylor, 26, from Sheffield as they show ditched its usual entrance format.

The launch episode of the tenth series saw a number of dramatic twists, with the new islanders first left confused as the boys and girls arrived at the same time and the public had already voted for who they wanted to see coupled up initially.

And later in the evening as the new pairings were getting to know each other, the contestants were given another surprise as the girls were dared to reveal if they were unhappy with their partner – with two stepping forward.

But back to Jess, who says she has been single for two years, and viewers were left distracted during the series’ opening episode as they spotted that she was wearing her gorgeous turquoise bikini top upside down as they questioned whether she was having a wardrobe malfunction.

@LaurenLovesTT asked: “Is Jess’ bikini top on upside down or am I just old? #LoveIsland.” @romalenno echoed: “Does Jess know her bikini top is on upside down #loveisland.” @bethanyallt wrote: “I’ve never understood the upside down bikini thing like I think it looks so obvious #loveisland.”
