Matt Jackson says Wolves get calls from all over Europe about Ryan Giles
Strategic player marketing manager Matt Jackson has said Wolves get calls all the time from clubs in Europe about Ryan Giles.
The 23-year-old has just finished another excellent loan spell.
Giles spent the 2022/23 season at Middlesbrough, and flourished a the Riverside Stadium.
Giles was heavily involved for Boro, who came up agonisingly short in their bid for promotion to the Premier league.
Boro lost to Coventry City in the play-off semi-final, so they will once again play Championship football next season.
And it remains to be seen whether Giles will be in their team again.

Giles is known for being a fantastic outlet.
He often players high and wide, and has a fantastic crossing ability.
That ability allowed him to get 12 assists in the season just gone, which is a brilliant return.
It makes him a real weapon, and there are plenty of clubs who are keen to sign Giles as a result.
According to Jackson, Wolves are always getting calls about him. He said (via The Athletic): “We get calls from all over Europe about him. A lot of times, clubs play 4-3-3 and they want to play him in either of the wide positions in that formation. Teams playing old-fashioned wingers definitely covet him as well.
“He’s proven he has the strength to play as a wing-back, which is not easy. We’ve seen him play as a winger at Cardiff and as a full-back at Middlesbrough and be more productive at Middlesbrough, so it’s not really about the position — it’s about the way the lads are encouraged to play within the system.”
It has previously been reported that Wolves would be prepared to cash in on Giles.

This is encouraging for Wolves.
At the moment, there is a need for the club to sell players in order to balance the books.
Players like Max Kilman, Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez have all been linked with the exit.
Their sales will bring in the most money this summer for Wolves. But there is potentially a bit to be made on Giles.
He’s got two years left on his contract at Molineux which puts the club in a fairly strong position at the negotiating table.
With interest in Giles so high, there is surely a good chance of Wolves selling him for eight figures.
He brings a lot to the table. That ability to deliver in the final third will be the envy of a lot of clubs.
So if Julen Lopetegui doesn’t plan to get him involved with the first-team next season, then Wanderers can at least expect to make some good money on Giles.
