LEICESTER and Sheffield both name full-strength sides for Monday’s Sports Insure Premiership clash live on Eurosport and discovery+ .

Skipper Kyle Howarth missed the Tigers’ defeat at Wolverhampton last Monday but is due back at the Pidcock Motorcycles Arena, Beaumont Park to face the club he captained at Championship level in 2021-22, whilst No.1 Jack Holder is also back after Polish commitments.

It’s the first top-league meeting between the clubs in Leicester since May 31, 1983 when the Lions were 55-23 winners at Blackbird Road.

They did meet in the promotion/relegation race-off in 2017 with the Lions winning both legs, including 49-41 in the home match.

WOLVERHAMPTON will still be without Americna star Luke Becker for their home clash with Ipswich on Monday.

Becker has been out for nearly two months with a broken leg and had been targeting the meeting against the Witches for his comeback, but it comes too soon and Craig Cook will step in to guest.

The Foxhall side, who won twice at Monmore last season, hand a seasonal debut to Ben Barker, who has signed as a 28-day replacement for the unwell Erik Riss.
