More than 2,360 miles, 7 London teams and a rivalry – Sheffield United Premier League away days
From Nottingham to Bournemouth, via seven London teams, Sheffield United supporters have plenty to look forward to next season as they take to the road in the Premier League.
Supporters will clock up a little over 2,360 miles watching their side away from home in some of Europe’s most famous stadiums.
Their nearest trips are to Nottingham and Manchester, while matches at Bournemouth and Brighton are the furthest they will travel.

Sheffield United fans will find out their fixture list on Thursday, June 15 and the season will kick off on Saturday, August 12.
Their excellent top 10 finish of 2019-20 has certainly whet the appetite of what is to come for the supporters, who were then cruelly denied a season in stadiums the following campaign, which the players certainly felt as they struggled to avoid relegation.
It is hoped United’s latest venture into the league regarded as the world’s biggest and best will be far more enjoyable than that second season and fans are already looking forward to the stadiums they will visit.
Who can forget those scenes at the Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth when Billy Sharp netted an 88th-minute equaliser to spark jubilant scenes in the away end? Or when John Fleck levelled at the Emirates to cause a stir?
The last time United played at Old Trafford they pulled off a major shock but no one was there to see it. Could they do that again this time around?
There will hopefully be plenty more of those to look forward to as Paul Heckingbottom’s men look to mix it with the best next season.
There will also be some experiences that supporters missed out on last time because of Covid. Both matches against Newcastle United were affected, but a trip to St James’ Park will be high on a lot of fans’ lists.
They will also visit Brentford as a Premier League ground, having last played them in 2018 as a Championship side.
It will also be interesting to see what improvements are made to Kenilworth Road following Luton’s promotion via the play-offs at the weekend.
There will also be a rivalry reignited with matches against Nottingham Forest following last season’s controversial play-off defeat at the City Ground.
