Norwich City: Jack Stacey completes free transfer from Bournemouth
The Canaries have moved quickly to secure the services of the recently released Bournemouth right back as they ramp their recruitment drive this summer following a disappointing Championship campaign.

Stacey is out of contract following a four-year spell on the South Coast where he made 98 appearances for the Cherries in all competitions. He joined the club in 2019 for a fee of £4million.
Prior to moving to Bournemouth he enjoyed back-to-back promotions with Luton Town – where he won individual accolades and was highly rated. Norwich have been monitoring his progress for a significant period of time.
He has signed a three year-deal at Carrow Road, effective from July 1, and becomes City’s second signing of the summer, following Ashley Barnes to Norfolk.
“I’m really looking forward to getting started. It’s a club whose ambitions match mine,” City’s new boy told club channels.
“One of the main things I spoke about with the head coach and with Stuart (Webber) is playing intense, fast, forward football, something I believe will suit my style of play and something that I can fit into.
“I’m really excited. I feel like I’m coming into my peak years, I’ve got experience from being around different clubs. I want to get back to the Premier League and this is the perfect club to do that.”
Norwich are in the market for a right back having released Sam Byram and the expectation is that Max Aarons will depart this summer.
City boss David Wagner was delighted to secure his second addition of the summer and believes Stacey will be able to hit the ground running at Norwich.
“Jack is a player we’ve been aware of for some time. He has a lot of experience, throughout the Football League and in the Premier League, and a great attitude and desire to drive this football club forward.
“He has all of the characteristics that a modern-day full-back requires and knows exactly what it takes to be successful at this level,” Wagner said.
“We’re delighted to have won the race to sign him, and to have got the deal done early, as we know there was a lot of interest in him.
“We look forward to welcoming him to the group when our pre-season training commences.”
