Only 7 Days Left To Invest In The Wanderers Bond – News
There are just seven days left to invest in the Wanderers. Following a hugely successful investment period, the Wanderers Bond has already raised £3,943,500 from more than 790 investors – an incredible response.
The money raised from the Wanderers Bond will be invested in sporting enhancements through improving the playing squad and facilities at Lostock, as well as key infrastructure projects at the Stadium that will generate additional revenue for Bolton Wanderers. All the projects funded by the Wanderers Bond will help secure the Club’s foundations on and off the pitch, and all aimed at delivering the Club’s mission of reaching the Championship.
Speaking about the response to Wanderers Bond, CEO Neil Hart said “It is fantastic. The Board and I are delighted with the response so far and it shows a tremendous amount of trust in the Ownership and Leadership that supporters and other investors have got behind our mission to deliver Championship football – that is what we are all focussed on achieving. The funds raised from the Bond will directly support that mission, and simply put, the more we raise, means the more we can do. It is still possible to invest, but there isn’t very long left to. There are lots of very important projects, so we want to raise as much money as we can.”
The Wanderers Bond
The Wanderers Bond will pay a fixed rate of interest over its five-year term, after which the amount invested will be repaid to the Bondholder. The key terms of the Wanderers Bond are as follows:
- 8.5% interest per annum payable in cash on the anniversary of the Bond
- 10% Championship Bonus payable upon the Club competing in the EFL Championship from the 24/25 season
- ISA Eligible for tax-free returns through an Innovative Finance ISA
- Minimum investment £500 and in increments of £500 (no maximum investment)
