Rylan Clark announces he’s taking a break from his Radio 2 show

Rylan Clark has announced he is taking a break from his BBC Radio 2 show, just hours after Phillip Schofield quit This Morning.

The presenter and radio host, 34, fronts his own show every Saturday from 3 till 6pm.

Yet on Saturday’s show, Rylan told his fans he had to make an announcement regarding the future of his programme.

He revealed he would be taking some time away from the show, saying: “This is where I should say ladies I won’t be catching up with you next week.

“Because I am off to do some other bits and bobs so I’m not going to be here for a fair few weeks.”

He added: “I just want to say whoever is looking after this seat for a fair few weeks can you please make sure you look after Couch Potatoes.”

Rylan, who has previously hosted This Morning, had listeners guessing what he is going to be up to as he remained tight lipped on his venture.
