Summer House’s Kyle and Amanda accuse Lindsay of “producing” a cheating storyline

Kyle Cooke And Amanda Batula are inconsistent with Lindsay Hubbard in Us weekly‘s exclusive preview of part 1 of the Summer house reunion, with the couple accusing their costar of “producing” a past storyline about him being unfaithful.

In the clip, Lindsay begins to wonder how her castmates would have handled discovering hypothetical rumors about Charles Radke cheats on her, but Amanda doesn’t hear.

“I would never bring it up on camera,” Amanda tells Lindsay. “I’d take you privately and let you know and let you know, then we can figure out how you’d like to go about it — filming it. Because that’s a horrible thing to go through and that’s so crazy to go through it for the whole world for the first time. It was horrible.”

After Lindsay says she’s sorry for “bringing it up on camera,” she notes that she’s apologized “several times” for the drama of Season 3 in the past.

“Your apology is pretty shallow,” replies Kyle, adding that he’d forgive Lindsay if she “just admitted she talked to the producers” and “waited for her.” [for] the perfect moment” to bring it up in the series.

He continues: “It was a very targeted stab in the back. And then you turned it like a good friend and that’s pretty superficial.

“And everyone bought it,” adds Amanda. “I just think it was the beginning of a series of trends that I think a lot of people have felt.”

Kyle then declares that Lindsay is “amazing at producing herself” on the show. When Carl claims that Kyle was “pretty good at producing himself too,” he gets defensive.

“What have I produced, Carl?” he asks. “What have I talked to producers [about] well in advance and was like, ‘This is what I’m going to do this summer.’”

When Carl points out storylines related to Loverboy, Kyle fires back: “She sabotaged my relationship! It is different from launching a Loverboy product.”

“Kyle, you son of a bitch cheated on her!” replies the Pittsburgh native.

Bravo fans may remember when Kyle confessed in Season 3 of the reality show that he woke up with a ‘girl in’ [his] bed” after blacking out on a guys trip. The couple managed to put the scandal behind them and tied the knot in September 2021.
