PEROTTO (5.00 Royal Ascot, nap)

He won the Britannia Stakes over course and distance at 2021 Royal Ascot and can take this from a 3lb lower mark. He rather lost his way with Marcus Tregoning and has joined Roger Varian who gave him a warm-up in the Victoria Cup here over seven furlongs last time. That went well as he came home seventh over that inadequate trip. He has copped what should be an excellent draw in stall 30 and moving back to his best trip can do the trick.

MY PROSPERO (4.20 Royal Ascot, nb)

He has few miles on the clock and looks the type to improve as a four-year-old. He moves up to her best distance here after an encouraging comeback fourth in the Lockinge at Newbury last time.

TARRABB (3.05 Royal Ascot, treble)

She is lightly raced and showed promise when second on comeback at Chelmsford last month. She was a handicap winner here over 7f last season but is right at home tackling a mile. Owen Burrows is an excellent target trainer and will have her spot on for this.

Most read in Horse Racing

RELIEF RALLY has looked smart on both starts and progressed from her debut when scooting in at Salisbury last month.

She powered through the line there on the quick ground and has a lot more to offer for trainer William Haggas.

Karl Burke won this race 12 months ago and has been in flying form with his juveniles.

He has every chance with Got To Love A Grey who went from the front when winning a York Listed contest last month.

She was impressive there and should have more to come.

He has another leading hope with Beautiful Diamond. She enjoyed the fast ground when scoring at Nottingham and is likely to show a lot more for that first run.

Born To Rock tanked along before winning on debut at Yarmouth for Jane Chapple-Hyam. She quickened off a decent pace and looks a hot prospect.

American trainers throw a few darts with Crimson Advocate winning nicely at Gulfstream in Florida last time.

Wesley Ward brings over Bundchen who is sure to show more than her green debut second at Keeneland.

She’ll fly from the gates but may struggle to last home.

Cynane was a convincing debut winner at Belmont and could be the pick of the raiders.

Balsam is a French Listed winner over this trip and can give Ryan Moore a good spin.

Some rain would help her chances as she went well in the soft ground.

Midnight Affair put herself in the picture for this race when winning nicely at Beverley 11 days ago. She had lots in hand despite looking green and should improve.

Gaiden was third behind Got To Love A Grey on the Knavesmire so is another worth a look.

Thanksbutnothanks did it nicely at Lingfield last time despite hanging and could be a prospect if ironing out that quirk.

Fellow Amo hope Graceful Thunder was in front for a long time at Sandown so did well to hold on. She can build on that good start.

3.05

TARRABB is lightly raced and showed promise when second on comeback at Chelmsford last month. She was handicapper winner here over 7f last season but is right at home tackling a mile.

Owen Burrows is an excellent target trainer and will have her spot on for this.

Frankie has a good chance on Tamarama who was a handy winner under the Italian on the all-weather last time.

This is her best trip and a 5lb rise in the weights gives her every chance.

Lady Eros enjoyed dropping to this trip when scoring at Yarmouth latest. Oisin Murphy gave her an excellent ride there and stays on board today.

Yerwanthere took a Dundalk handicap before coming back with a solid run in Listed company latest. She looks on a fair handicap mark for Joseph O’Brien.

He has another chance with Adelaise who went close in a red-hot contest at The Curragh last time.

The yard’s third contender Indian Wish took Listed honours at Gowran which means she has plenty of weight on her back today.

Mukaddamah is interesting if she can find her decent form of last season. She held her own at Group level and looked really rusty on return at Nottingham.

Jim Crowley’s mount is better than that. She stays well but wouldn’t want the ground too quick.

Belhaven is fresh from a second here last month when she enjoyed testing ground. She would come into this if the going eases.

Farhh To Say just got the better of her in that contest and there won’t be a lot between them again.

Crystal Caprice won his last visit here and wasn’t beaten far in an Ayr Listed contest latest. A repeat would give her a chance.

3.40

GRANDE DAME signed off last season with an excellent third in the Group 1 Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket in October.

She didn’t get the clearest of runs and did well to keep going in that high-class company.

She broke her maiden here last April and is a much stronger filly than the one who was down the field in the Coronation Stakes.

Decent ground suits and the Gosdens will have her fit enough on this comeback.

Jumbly looks the main danger from Joseph O’Brien. She didn’t run against last season after winning a Group 3 over course and distance in July.

She shaped well on return at The Curragh last month and, while she shapes as though longer would be ideal, Ryan Moore’s mount has every chance.

Prosperous Voyage is another who was down the field in last year’s Coronation Stakes here but she went on to take the Group 1 Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket’s July meeting.

She landed a cosy success down in class at the Derby meeting. More is needed for this but she could deliver.

Rogue Millennium has been running well over 1m2f including when beaten half a length at York last time in this class. She may find things happening a bit quickly here.

Honey Girl took a Curragh Group 3 over seven furlongs in the soft but was below par back there last month when sent off favourite. That gives her a question to answer.

Potapova has never fulfilled her early promise and was below par again at Epsom latest.

Queen Aminatu ran a fair race at Lingfield last time but needs more at this level.

4.20

MY PROSPERO has few miles on the clock and looks the type to improve as a four-year-old.

He moves up to her best distance here after an encouraging comeback fourth in the Lockinge at Newbury last time.

His form is tied in with Bay Bridge and Adayar from last season’s Champion Stakes where they were involved in a bunch finish. William Haggas’ colt can improve past those two.

Adayar is the most feared of the pair given his liking for Ascot. He won the King George VI Stakes here last season over 1m4f and that may just be his best trip.

He won his comeback in a Newmarket Group 3 with plenty left in the tank.

Luxembourg has three Group 1s on his CV including the Tattersalls Gold Cup at The Curragh last time. He wouldn’t want the ground really quick but is a major player.

Bay Bridge was half a length behind the Aidan O’Brien runner last time when not getting the clearest of runs.

His Champion Stakes win is high-class form and he has every chance of repeating his second in this contest 12 months ago.

5.00

PEROTTO won the Britannia Stakes over course and distance at 2021 Royal Ascot and can take this from a 3lb lower mark.

On the other side of the track, Ghaly could be better than a handicapper returning from a break for Saeed Bin Suroor.

He ran three times last season and finished the campaign with a gutsy win over this trip at Newmarket. He has run well fresh before and should run a big race.

Awaal is drawn next to the tip and didn’t quite get home over further in France when last seen in April.

He was second in the Lincoln and will go from the front. He seems to handle any ground.

Astro King has been placed in this race twice so warrants respect.

He shaped well on comeback when a close-up fourth in a big field at York and is at his best in quick conditions.

He doesn’t have the ideal draw but his liking for this course and distance is a plus.

Dunum is in the middle of the track but has been in good form across the Irish Sea. He was beaten on the nod in a hot handicap at The Curragh and can cope with a 4lb rise in the weights.

Point Lynas likes to be up with the pace and went close in a hot contest at York before another decent effort at Nottingham latest. He should give another good account.

Atrium didn’t run badly at Newbury last month and has winning form over this course and distance.

He’s only 1lb higher than his last win and should be competitive.

Blue For You ran well at York in a big field latest despite a shocking draw. He has a better stall today and could make the most of it.

Intellogent is right on the rail and tried to come from a long way back when sixth at Newbury latest.

He’ll need to be closer to the pace today but could make his presence felt.

Chasing Aphrodite has a low draw and enjoyed himself when winning an apprentices’ race over course and distance last time.

Hayley Turner takes over today and she has a decent record on this straight track.

Bear Force One is hit and miss but it was a going day when he scored at Newbury latest and a repeat of that would see him in the mix from just 3lb higher.

5.35

CIRCLE OF FIRE should come into his own upped to this staying trip after a couple of good runs over shorter distances this season.

He was second at Newmarket before being asked to come from another country when third at Lingfield last time.

Hopefully he can stay a bit closer to the pace here and let his stamina bring him home.

Chesspiece was impressive when landed a decent York handicap over 1m3f last month. He is another bred for this stiffer test and has more to come.

Gregory is a short price for the Gosdens and Frankie Dettori.

He seemed to have plenty in the tank when winning a Goodwod Listed race last month. He should improve on that and is a major player.

Peking Opera can have a say for Aidan O’Brien. He powered home to score over 1m5f at Navan last time. He enjoyed the testing ground there so wouldn’t want it too fast.

Saint George stayed every yard of this trip when winning a Doncaster handicap 18 days ago.

Andrew Balding’s hope takes on much stiffer opposition here but his proven staying power could be an asset under Oisin Murphy.

Presumably Godolphin’s No1 jockey William Buick could have ridden Chesspiece so it’s interesting that he’s on board St Vincents Garden for Joseph O’Brien.

He won nicely at Fairyhouse and looks a certain stayer. Watch for a market move.

6.10

MAXIMUM IMPACT was an impressive winner here last time and can put that track experience to good use.

That built nicely on his debut success at Leicester for Alice Haynes who has been doing well with her juveniles this season.

The ground was testing that day but it was much quicker for his follow-up win and there’s a lot more to come.

Owners Amo Racing also run Fusterlandia who looked a nice prospect when second at Beverley latest and he could run into the frame at long odds.

Barnwell Boy got the job done nicely when winning by almost five lengths on debut at Goodwood.

He didn’t have a lot to beat but did it strongly and can take a big step forward.

Aidan O’Brien relies on Johannes Brahms who didn’t have to hit top gear to strike on debut at Naas.

Ballydoyle have a good record in this and won it with Little Big Bear last year.

Bombay Bazaar has been in fine fettle at Beverley with two good runs over this trip. He can progress further and hold his own in this stronger level.

Fandom runs for Wesley Ward who has won this race twice. He had seven lengths in hand when winning on debut at Keeneland but it’s hard to assess the form.

This five-furlong trip usually suits the American raiders best as they fly from the stalls but can struggle to get home.

World Of Darcy held his own in a Listed race at Sandown last time. He has lots of zip and could run into the frame.
