The North Yorkshire seaside towns named among the best in the UK for seafood

Two of the region’s most beloved seaside towns have been named among the best for seafood.

As many prepare for summer staycations in the UK, seafood lovers will be delighted to discover that they don’t need to venture far from home for a memorable culinary experience. But where exactly do we need to travel to guarantee the freshest and most tasty fish dishes? New data from meal box delivery company, HelloFresh , reveals all.

According to the data, you’ll find the best cod in North Yorkshire and the best Salmon not too far away in Northumberland. Others places to make the list include Devon, Aberdeenshire and Suffolk.

Whitby and Scarborough – much loved days out for Teessiders – have been named in the list. According to HelloFresh you can find the best cod in the UK here. The towns were the only places in North Yorkshire to make the list.
