Turtle Bay reveals opening date for Blackpool restaurant

The Caribbean restaurant and bar will be opening its doors on Blackpool’s promenade in time for summer.

Situated in the newly-restored Forshaws Hotel on Talbot Square, Turtle Bay will bring a combination of rum, reggae and jerk to the seaside town.

The restaurant boasts Turtle Bay’s trademark beach-shack look and feel with brightly coloured artworks and murals.

Free Caribbean pop-up BBQ will celebrate the new restaurant

Turtle Bay will host a free Caribbean pop-up BBQ on the Festival Headland on Friday, June 23.

The event will start at 12pm and end at 6pm or until stocks last.

Turtle Bay’s Executive Chef, Collin Brown, the team will offer visitors free samples of their famous jerk chicken wings as well as serving tasters of signature cocktails from rum brand Cockspur. 

If this sounds like a bit of you, head over to the Festival Headland from 12pm to get the free treats but remember once they’re gone, they’re gone.

When will Turtle Bay open its doors in Blackpool?

Turtle Bay will open in Blackpool on Friday, June 30, offering a day to night menu which includes some new small and large plates plus rum-based cocktails.

The menu offers a range of vegan and vegetarian dishes too.

Bottomless brunch will be available at the new restaurant daily with the two-hour experience including tropical cocktails, mocktails, Red Stripe and prosecco.

Turtle Bay’s 2-4-1 cocktail happy hour which includes all the cocktails on the menu will also be making its way to Blackpool.

We’re busy prepping for that as well as opening our doors one week later on Friday 30th – we can’t wait to let the Caribbean good times roll!”
