United team is in

The Man Utd team to face Man City in the FA Cup final is in.

Harry Maguire drops to the bench, in comes Raphael Varane.

Bruno Fernandes will lead the Red Devils out.

Keane brutal Richards putdown

Micah Richards was the recipient of a BRUTAL five-word shutdown from Roy Keane.

The Manchester United legend was sitting opposite Richards during an episode of The Overlap.

The dynamic duo were joined by Gary Neville and Jill Scott to name a combined XI of Manchester City and United stars as part of coverage ahead of the all-Mancunian FA Cup final.

Richards, boisterous as ever, got the conversation flowing as the quartet moved on to discuss right-backs.

Looking at Neville, the ex-City star declared: “Let’s get the elephant out of the room, I was a better right-back than you, Gary.”

Neville quipped: “Big elephant that,” before Richards doubled down, adding: “I was though weren’t I.”

However, Keane appeared to be flummoxed by the assertion, before he interjected by saying: “You weren’t better than Gary.”

The 51-year-old then added: “The quiz is over, now let’s get serious. You weren’t better than Gary,” with the first half of his sentence leaving Richards and Co in hysterics.

After the laughter had subsided, Richards argued he was better than Neville at some things, to which Keane hit back by talking about the full package.

Richards tried to prove his point by saying: “But he was in a great team. I was playing with [Antoine] Sibierski and David Sommeil.”

Casemiro request

Casemiro has urged Man Utd to bring in more depth to their squad in the transfer window.

“When top-class players come in, quality players, it’s always welcome,” Casemiro told the Daily Mirror.

“We always want quality players and it’s always the case that the more options you have, it’s important to have as much quality in the squad as you can. But us players know that there are people who have the knowledge to do that.

“We’ve got John [Murtough, United director of football] who signed me and brought me here, so I have complete faith in him, along with his staff and the manager. It’s always the club that has the final say and it’s not us players who need to be putting our noses into this.

“But the more top players you have the better, because we know that with lots of quality players, there’s competition for places and that means you get to the end of the season in better shape.”
