A local guide to Sunday’s MIAA state high school championships
Are you ready for some state finals? You certainly have your pick of them.
With an assist from Mother Nature, Father’s Day is an MIAA tournament tornado. All the baseball, softball, lacrosse, tennis and rugby action that had been slated for Saturday is now on Sunday. At locations across Massachusetts, trophies shaped like the commonwealth will be handed out as the best teams will finally be rewarded.
Let’s go through this busiest of days in chronological order. Maybe take dad along and check out the action around the state. The schedule, along with the locations to punch into the GPS and each team’s tournament path to get to the big moment, is below. As ever, it is weather permitting:
