All the latest food hygiene ratings for chip shops in Coventry

All the latest food hygiene ratings for chip shops in Coventry

Coventry is home to dozens of fish and chip shops, but which are the cleanest? Anywhere that serves food has to have a rating for its food hygiene, given by the local authority.

Inspectors rate each takeaway from zero, meaning urgent improvement is required, to five, which means that hygiene standards are exemplary. All of the ratings are based on how food is handled, cleanliness and how food safety is managed.

A number of local chip shops have been awarded full marks, while a handful were deemed satisfactory. Inspections are carried out by Coventry City Council with the findings updated on the FSA website each time they are conducted.
