Birmingham City 2023/24 fixtures: Full Championship schedule as Blues handed Swansea City opener
Birmingham City will begin their 2023/24 Championship campaign with a trip to Swansea City.
John Eustace’s team travel to the scene of one of last season’s most memorable away days first up on Saturday, August 5. Blues were trailing 2-1 when they visited Swansea in February before a second half comeback culminated in late goals from Lukas Jutkiewicz and Auston Trusty sealing a dramatic 4-3 win.
Blues’ first home game will come against recently relegated Leeds United the following weekend. New signing Tyler Roberts will go up against his former employer on his St Andrew’s debut in the Championship.
Blues will end August with a trip to Bristol City, followed by a home clash with newly-promoted Plymouth Argyle. The final game before the first international break of the season will be a St Andrew’s battle with Millwall on September 2.

Blues will play at St Andrew’s on Boxing Day in a Midlands derby against Stoke City. The weekend prior to Boxing Day will see Blues travel to Plymouth Argyle, and they will host Bristol City on December 29. A trip to Leeds United awaits on New Year’s Day to complete Blues’ festive fixtures.
Eustace’s team did the double over neighbours West Bromwich Albion last season and the two teams will meet for the first time at St Andrew’s on October 7 before the return trip to The Hawthorns on February 3. Blues will finish their Championship campaign on May 4 at home to Norwich City.
