Brighton Pride 2023: Tickets, parades, Fabuloso in the Park lineup and more

It’s not long now until hundreds of thousands of people descend on Brighton for its iconic Pride festival.

The LGBTQ+ celebration is one of the biggest pride events in the country and more global mega-stars take the stage to mark its 50th Anniversary. This Pride month, festival lovers will be counting down the days until early August.

Expect a star-studded lineup, parades and more as the action-packed weekend is now only weeks away.

Who’s performing this year?

The confirmed main stage lineup for Fabuloso in the Park, Preston Park, is global sensation Black Eyed Peas, Zara Larsson, Jax Jones, Dylan, Mae Muller, on the Saturday. On Sunday the main stage will be graced by Steps, Melanie C, Louise Redknapp and The Vivienne.

Other acts people can look forward to are Honey Dijon and Gok Wan taking on the 6,000-person-capacity big top Gaydio Dance Tent alongside Monki and more.

When is it and what’s on?

The festival is set to run from Friday, August 4 to Sunday, August 7. Pride has more than just the festival, The Brighton & Hove Pride LGBTQ+ Community Parade 2023 will be on Saturday 5th August.

After the success of last year’s theme ‘Love, Protest and Unity’, this year they are challenging everyone to ‘break the mould’ and ‘express who you are’. They are Daring you to be different. The Community parade is one of the biggest and brightest events in the calendar with over 300,000 people attending and filling the streets to partcipate and watch the array of colour.

The parade meanders its way from Hove Lawns to Preston Park for the We Are Fabuloso event. There is also a Pride Village Party in Brightons famous Kemptown which sees businesses across St James’s St and Marine Parade come together to celebrate Pride and raise extra funds for the Brighton Rainbow Fund and Pride Social Impact Fund.

The Village Party runs from Saturday to Sunday. There will be Entertainment zones with bars and live performances, cabaret, DJs, drag artists and more coming together for a weekend of fundraising celebrations.

How much are tickets and where can I buy them?

Tickets for Fabuloso in the Park range in price depending on when you want to go. With first sale tickets for Saturday and Sunday sold out, currently, Saturday tickets are £49.50, Sunday is £45.50 and a weekend ticket is £60. The Weekend ticket makes each day £30 if you want to go to both.

If you’re looking to splash the cash and have an exciting VIP experience, you can get your hands on tickets for the platinum circle, which gives you access to the VIP main stage viewing area. Saturday tickets are £165, Sunday is £150 and for the weekend it’s £275.
