Great Malvern Food Festival returns for 13th year

FOODIES far and wide are encouraged to belly up for the 13th annual Great Malvern Food Festival returning in July.

Across the festivals two days, Priory Park will be packed full of local vendors offering national and international cuisines, desserts and drinks on Saturday July, 1 from 10am to 5pm and Sunday July, 2 from 10am to 4pm.

Visitors can expect vegetarian burgers, Vietnamese bao buns, Italian pizza, Indian style roti wraps, Greek street food, and countless desserts from artisan bakeries, donut makers, natural juices and even craft beer stalls.

Live cooking demonstrations as well as food and drink showcases will provide the entertainment in between indulgent eating.

The festival has been arranged by Malvern Hills District Council with support from local event organiser Boffy Events and event sponsor Full Fibre – Fibre Heroes.

Coun Beverley Nielsen, portfolio holder for economic development and tourism, said: “The line-up of market stalls, street food vendors and cookery demonstrations for this year’s 13th festival is fantastic, open to everyone and really showcases the local talent we are so lucky to have on our doorstep.
