Travelers Championship leader Keegan Bradley chasing PGA record

CROMWELL — Keegan Bradley birdied three holes on the front nine to increase his lead to four strokes at 25-under heading to the final eight holes in the final round of the Travelers Championship Sunday.

Bradley birdied holes 3, 4 and 6. Chez Reavie, who trailed Bradley by a stroke after 54 holes, shot a 2-over 37 on the front nine and now stands six strokes behind.

Rory McIlroy has moved into a tie for third with five birdies in his first seven holes and seven overall. He is looking to end up with his best finish in his fourth appearance in the tournament.

Zac Blair made the biggest move on Sunday, making nine birdies, including four straight from holes 13-16. He is in second place at 20-under, five shots behind Bradley.

Bradley right now is ahead of pace to set the tournament all-time scoring record, which is 258, currently held by Kenny Perry, which he set in 2009.

The PGA Tour’s all-time 72-hole scoring record is 253, held by Justin Thomas at the 2017 Sony Open.
