Wax London opens second London store, arrives in Spitalfields

Wax London has found a second London location, taking the expanding men’s fashion brand to Commercial Street in ever-more-popular Spitalfields.

It follows quickly on from its debut retail store in Soho, having signed a five-year lease, opening in Berwick Street in early June.

Wax London, which is also stocked in Liberty, Selfridges, Brown Thomas, Harvey Nichols and independents, was earlier this year reported to be looking to expand its physical presence further, and with a big chunk of its business coming from the US, that has led to speculation about its store intentions there.

Meanwhile, the new Spitalfields opening coincides with the launch of the retailer’s SS23 collection, including the newest releases from Drop 3, billed as ‘Sunny weekends in Seville’,

Those weekends inspire the bolder colour palette of this drop, ranging from Coral Orange, Mustard, and Khaki hues to the darker Navy Jacquard. The campaign combines the colour palette and inspiration of Seville with the urban setting of London as its backdrop.

Drop 3 also sees the brand expand its offering with further Linen shapes, terry-towelling co-ords and new Didcot Shirts.

And the drop sees an expansion of the trouser offering, with a relaxed, wide-leg design in the form of the new Milos Trouser. Constructed from 100% Cotton Twill and available in black and white.

The brand has seen a positive response to its knitted shirt selection and as such has produced three new Tellaro shirts including two ribbed fabrics in khaki and white and a third Tellaro in a mustard/ecru tile knit design, “tying together the whole collection”.
