Wilfred G. Pinsonneault Obituary – Seacoastonline.com

Wilfred G. Pinsonneault (91), passed away peacefully on May 23, 2023 at Webster at Rye, Rye, NH.

Fondly known as “Pete” to all, he was a loving spouse, devoted father, and dear friend.

Born May 18, 1932 to Wilfred A. Pinsonneault and Ida (Bourque) Pinsonneault, Pete grew up in Manchester, NH with his three siblings, Robert, Rita and Collette, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends nearby.

In 1955, he married the love of his life, Margaret E. “Peg” Milner with whom he celebrated 61 years of marriage and raised two sons. He proudly served his nation by enlisting in the United States Air Force and afterwards, in the Air National Guard. Aviation was Pete’s vocation (as an aircraft electrician) and passion. Pete was curious and strove to understand the intricacies and mechanics of machines. He retired from a lifelong military career with a rank of Senior Master Sergeant.

Pete was a gentle man who had a keen appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. He enjoyed his walks with Peg, the times at Hampton Beach dancing or playing cards with friends, listening and watching Patriots games, working with his hands by puttering about the house, tending the yard and/or caring for cars. In retirement, he and Peg became snowbird residents of Venice, Florida where his competitive side showed in spirited games of Bocci ball, shuffle board and Hearts.

Pete was a solid family man who was forever proud of his sons, encouraging and supporting their endeavors. He led by quiet example, instilling purpose and solid values to his sons. He will be remembered for his kindness, gentle spirit, quick smile and his love.
