Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal released lists in full as all Premier League free agents revealed

Premier League clubs have submitted their lists of players they will be releasing from their squads this summer, with some big names heading for the exit door.

Champions Manchester City will be letting go of their FA Cup final hero Ilkay Gundogan if new contract talks fall through, while runners-up Arsenal have released academy product Ainsley Maitland-Niles among others.

Phil Jones and David De Gea are among those set to leave Manchester United, while Liverpool have said goodbye to Roberto Firmino, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner, who has joined Brighton after eight years at Anfield.

Those relegated at the end of the season have also seen several personnel changes with Leicester City letting go of the likes of Jonny Evans, Caglar Soyuncu and Daniel Amartey, while Southampton have released Mohamed El Younossi and Theo Walcott. Leeds United, meanwhile, have bid farewell to Joel Robles and Adam Forshaw ahead of their return to the Championship.

The retained lists will be of interest to top-flight clubs as well as those in the Championship, with Cardiff City’s partial transfer embargo with the EFL meaning they will be shopping in the free agent market this summer.
