Nine of the best Glastonbury Festival vendors offering £6 meal deal

Like many other festivals, Glastonbury can often be expensive for music fans. However, there are cheaper alternatives for festival-goers at Worthy Farm.

Since 2015, many food and drink traders at Glastonbury have offered a £6 meal deal. This year, around 300 stallholders – over 75 per cent of all traders – are offering the deal.

This gives people the chance to try food from all over the world, ranging from Japan and Mexico to here in Somerset. Here are some traders offering the £6 meal deal at the Glastonbury Festival this week (in no particular order).

The Vegan Pyramid

First up on our list is The Vegan Pyramid. As its name suggests, this stall sells a range of vegan breakfast, lunch and dinner options.

Customers have the option of ‘The Big V Breakfast’, the ‘Jerk Wrap’, the ‘Vegan Fried Chicken’, and the ‘Cheezy Chips’. For just £6 you can get your hands on porridge made from coconut milk and topped with fruit and sprinkles of cinnamon, as well as sausage and chips (which comes with a choice of sauce).

Somerset Smash Burgers & Steaks

Next is Somerset Smash Burgers & Steaks. This stall sells breakfast, lunch and dinner options.

For £6 you can get a single-patty beef burger. The breakfast options include a bacon roll, with the option of an egg, as well as a free-range sausage sandwich.

Big Mouth Gyoza

If you fancy Asian food, this may just be the one for you. Big Mouth Gyoza sell a host of Japanese dumplings which are homemade in the Yorkshire Dales.

For £6 you can get your hands on ‘Just Gyoza’ – a handmade gyoza which comes with a pot of secret sauce. You get the choice of Yorkshire pork belly or mushroom in your gyoza.

Burrito Boys

As we continue to head around the globe, next up is the Burrito Boys. They sell a host of burritos, tacos and quesadillas, consisting of a meat of your choice, black beans, sour mint cream, salad, green rice, tomato salsa, Mexican chilli sauce and jalapenos.

For £6 you have the choice of two tacos. You can pick chicken, beef or veggie as your filling.

Also on the menu is the ‘Smokey Chicken’ and the ‘Orange Braised Beef’. You can get either as a burrito or quesadilla.

Dirty Fries

Dirty Fries may just be the perfect option for anyone looking to soak up some afternoon pints. They sell a host of pizza-topped fries, including ‘Meat Feast’, ‘Margarita’ and ‘Pepperoni’.

For £6 you can get the ‘Bombay Beans Fries’. It is described as “curried baked beans served over fries topped with fresh coriander”.

You can also opt for ‘Naked Fries’ or add three chicken goujons.

Wok’s Up Noodle Company

Heading back to Asia now as we visit Wok’s Up Noodle Company. They sell noodle dishes, sweet and sour chips, tempura prawns and spring rolls.

For £6 you can get ‘Half Noodles and Half Chips’ box. For those willing to spend some more, there are also a range of other noodle box options.

They include the ‘Vegetable Box’, ‘The Vegan Box’, the ‘Chicken Box’, and ‘Wok’s Box’. You have the option of adding black bean or sweet and sour sauce.

Just Desserts

Now for something for those looking for a sweeter bite. Other than tea and coffee, Just Desserts sell rocky road, brownies, flapjacks and caramel shortbreads.

However, for £6 you’re able to buy a ‘New York Baked Cheesecake’. There are also hot dessert options, including pecan pie, treacle tart and sticky toffee pudding.

Wood Fired Pizza

Next up is our second pizza offering. At Wood Fired Pizza, you’re able to get garlic bread for just £6.

In terms of pizza, it sells a tomato and mozzarella option, a meat feast option, a mushroom option and a spicy option. There are also dips to choose from, including garlic mayo, hot sauce and vegan mayo.

Billy Bob’s Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Sides

Last but not least on the list is Billy Bob’s Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Sides. They sell a number of box meals as well as children options.

The box options include the ‘Boneless Box’, the ‘Mega Box’, the ‘Nuggets Box’ and the ‘Dirty Loaded Fries’. For £6 you can get cajun fries and a soft drink of choice.
