Nkunku and Lautaro feature in Chelsea news now

Here is a roundup of the top News and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed –

Callum Hudson-Odoi will look to leave CHELSEA in the summer after the club decided that he can go – according to reporter Iomie Stanley.

A few seasons ago Hudson-Odoi was regarded as the future of Chelsea – a special talent that doesnt come around too often and a player that the club had massive hopes for

However – he had failed to reach the heights that many expected and over the summer – he was allowed to leave the club on loan for the season in hope of getting some much needed game time with Bayer Leverkusen

The winger – once valued at £60 million – has already made a number of starts for the Bundesliga side and is looking like he in enjoying his time away from Stamford Bridge

Chelsea have now made the decision to allow him to leave, according to the Daily Express. – and Stanley has claimed that Hudson-Odoi will look to leave the club on a permanent basis in the summer

That is because The Blues have brought in multiple new attackers since the 22-year-old joined Bayer Leverkusen on loan in the last transfer window – with the likes of  Mykhailo Mudryk, Joao Felix and Noni Madueke all signing –

Speaking to icfootballnews, the journalist said: “Obviously, there’s Noni Madueke, there’s Mudryk as well and Christopher Nkunku – three attackers that Chelsea have signed in the last couple of windows.

‘That really does make me believe now that Callum Hudson-Odoi will leave Chelsea in the summer. with a number of clubs interested in a potential deal’

Look – the young man is very talented and still has a bright future in the game – but how many talents have we seen at Chelsea just get lost in the loan system? If he stays – it may not be the best for his future

He is set for crunch talks with Chelsea to discuss his future next week but the decision has reportedly been made – it is time to go.

Nkunku wants trophies –

Christopher Nkunku has told his new boss at CHELSEA Mauricio Pochettino that he is looking to win trophies.

Nkunku’s signing was finally announced earlier this week after agreeing to join the Blues in the January transfer window – The Frenchman has signed a six-year contract after a £53million deal was struck with RB Leipzig.

He is the first big signing to make the move to Stamford Bridge this summer – as the Blues look to offload a number of stars in order to balance the books and make some space for imcoming signings.

The versatile attacker struck a further 23 goals this season to help Leipzig secure a third-place finish in the Bundesliga and retain the DFB-Pokal – And ahead of joining up with the squad for pre-season in July, he has told the club that he wants to win trophies.

“I want to improve in football and I want to win trophies and improve myself also,” Nkunku said.

“We also shouldn’t expect too much of players that have just got here.

“Maybe that is part of the story this year of young players coming in and, because of the performance of the team, being expected to make a difference.”

Again – Nkunku has proven himself to be a top player in the Bundesliga and a man that has become one of the best – the Premier League will make or break his immediate future.

There should be many more signings on the way to Stamford Bridge – so fans will be hoping that more arrivals like Nkunku make the move to London

Lautaro Interested in move –

CHELSEA target Lautaro Martínez is “definitely” open to a move to Stamford Bridge – transfer insider Dean Jones has claimed.

It is believed that incoming boss Mauricio Pochettino will look to add some more strikers to the attack this summer – as he has been promised by Ted Boehly that there will be funds available to sign the players he wants

Christopher Nkunku has already made the move to Stamford Bridge – but he will most likely be used as a wing forward rather than a traditional number nine.

And that has led to suggestions that Lautaro Martinez is a man that the club are very interested in signing over the next few months to add that wrold class striker to the attack.

And the Argentine would most definitely be interested in a move to the Premier League -Speaking to GIVEMESPORT about Martínez and Chelsea, Jones said: “So far there has been no move for Lautaro from anyone.

‘But at Chelsea there is still a feeling that even if they sign Nicolas Jackson, there will be one more name to come up top.

“Losing [Kai] Havertz and probably [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang and [Romelu] Lukaku means a spot opens up in that frontline, and it’ll be interesting to see if they really trust [Armando] Broja or if they go for that star power.

“Lautaro would be a good option in that sense, given his history of playing at the very top level with Inter Milan and Argentina.

‘He has a decent record of getting to the 20-goal mark and he’s gettable in this window. He would definitely be open to moving to the Premier League from what my contacts say.”
